Music Videos. We love ‘em!

We are passionate about music videos. We enjoy the challenges of the volatile, crazy music industry and we absolutely love the process of working with artists, their music, management and labels to create great music videos.

Our directors have worked in virtually all music genres. Lara Cassidy, has directed alternative, country and pop videos, but her forte is what she likes to call "art" pieces, like her clips for Bravo! for jazz artist John Chiasson and classical artists Rhapsody Quintet. We may not wear cowboy hats, but our country credentials are rock solid. Jim Spitler, who is based in Nashville, has worked with artists that include Kathy Mattea and Johnny Cash. Before there was even a country network in Canada, Charlie Cahill was producing country videos; Joan Kennedy's Talk To My Heart, was awarded "best Canadian video of 1994" by CMT in Nashville. Charlie and Jim have also directed clips for country artists that include Chris Cummings, Amanda Stott and Shirley Myers. New Scotland also draws upon a network of creative partners, including editors, cinematographers and other directors, throughout North America.

International Visitors

From time to time international music videos shoot in Nova Scotia and need production & location management expertise. Been here, done that: we've hosted videos for Word Records artist Cindy Morgan, Sparrow Records artist Susan Ashton and Island Universal artists Witness.

We can shoot anywhere, but prefer to shoot in Nova Scotia. Our province's unique locations, world class crews and the best lobster on the planet mean you'll have a great time and get a great video. We post in either Nashville, Toronto or Halifax.

Contact us. Each project is unique; we need to hear your music and understand your marketing objectives. Then we'll put together a concept and creative team that will fit your budget and get you on the air.
